Garmets In the News

Post by Just This Guy »

NPR had an article about women's reaction to the new sleeveless garments.

Apparently they are not being sold in the US yet, but people can import them from countries where they are available.

Mixed feelings: The Church members used to take inordinate pride in proclaiming their superiority by dressing in a moral manner.
Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.

Interesting. Wish I could have been a fly on the wall when the apostles or whoever debated this. :D
God is Love. God is Truth. The greatest problem with organized religion is that the organization becomes god, rather than a means of serving God.

I love stuff like this. Mormons LOVE going to church, but they are strangely overjoyed whenever the number or length of meetings are reduced. They have such deep respect and reverence for their sacred temple garments and the modesty they dictate, but it's like a Black Friday brawl when skimpier garments are permitted. I wonder how quickly Mormons would start to resemble Rastafarians if the church announced that cannabis is one of the "wholesome herbs God hath ordained for the constitution, nature, and use of man."

If members started petitioning loudly for temple g-strings and speedos, how long would it take for those to make an appearance?
