I’ve never met him in person and don’t know any details and can’t confirm for sure.
Edit I just saw this link

If true it’s a sad day for the Mormon internet universe. He was a staple of humor and wisdom across many discussion forums, often accompanied by a Google search to know what the hell he was referring to.
Rest in peace my dear penguin! Your humor was certainly loved by me and your kindness, wit, and love for understanding the nuance of being a Mormon will be missed.
In honor of the Penguin, perhaps we can use this thread to offer well wishes in the next life and link to your favorite Moksha post.

So sad. I loved his humor, even when I didn’t get it. He will be missed
I noticed he had not been around for a few weeks. I do check in once a week or so, but usually we have no way of finding out how people are unless we know them in real life, and sometimes people disappear because they just run out of things to say about Mormonism.

Oh no.
Even though I never met him, I considered Moksha a friend. We checked in with each other from time to time via PM. I tried many times to coerce him into meeting in real life but he always declined. I had the impression that he was quite old and not well. He told me a couple of times that he lived very near me. I told him I didn't care if he was just a brain in a jar, I still wanted to be in his presence, but no luck.
I don't know what happens after we die. We return to the cosmos one way or another, either as part of a greater consciousness or a dispersion of particles of star stuff. Whichever it is, I hope it meets the Penguin's wildest expectations.
Rest In Peace, Moksha!

Sad news. He was one of a kind.
I wish I could attend his memorial. I feel like my NOM friends are family.

God is Love. God is Truth. The greatest problem with organized religion is that the organization becomes god, rather than a means of serving God.

Oh no, terrible news! May he rest in peace, and his family find consolation.
I remember laughing out loud when he posted a quote to support his position, and it was a quote of himself. He always had an amusing way to look at things.

This is very sad to hear. I didn't know Moksha outside of reading his posts here, but it still feels like losing a friend.
