I suspect most viewers don't know who Hugh Thompson Jr. was. He was the soldier who ended the My Lai massacre in Viet Nam. He stopped other men from following illegal orders to murder non-combatants. If you don't know the story, google My Lai massacre or Hugh Thompson Jr.
It is important to understand who this man was and what he did, especially in light of recent political events.
God is Love. God is Truth. The greatest problem with organized religion is that the organization becomes god, rather than a means of serving God.
