LDS Painter Explores the Absurd

Post by moksha »

The latest painting by Jon McNaughton explores the world of the absurd with a dazzling display of LDS archetypes, doctrines, and political philosophy. The original will be on full display at the Provo Municipal Waste Recycling plant till April 1st when it will be donated to the Science Fiction and Fantasy Museum in French Lick, Indiana.

Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.

Just like trump, McNaughton has found an audience who are easily manipulated by fear and hatred, and can be talked into doing just about anything, including forking over hundreds of dollars for a cheesy print of a garish, cartoon. I do like the cheeseburger version, however.

This is the kind of stuff that makes me weep for the future of America. How can grown ups take this seriously.

I'm just so relieved that I have Sarah Huckabee Sanders protecting me from the unspeakable horrors of the swamp.
