I just watched the latest Theramin Trees post on YouTube. It's hammers on the TSCC over it's use of stigmatizing sexual sins to shame people as flawed. It's definitely worth a watch:

This plays into a post I put up last year about the story on This American Life and follow up program on Radio West about how Fd up people's sex lives were from the negative impact of shaming and Bishop's interviews.
I like how he points out that the same tools religions use to take advantage of people are also used by therapists.

Ha! I was watching this and got a commercial for a "God-centric mental help" organization that bases therapy on Bible verses that are "surprisingly relative to our needs today."

Rubin,...you know as well as I do that up and down the Wasatch "mormon corridor" there are hundreds of therapists who treat 'addicts'. Crazy hunh?
