This is for encouragement, ideas, and support for people going through a faith transition no matter where you hope to end up. This is also the place to laugh, cry, and love together.
The beautiful thing about this forum is I can take you all with me to church, to help when needed. Thank you! The talk is about leaving the 99 to find the 1 that is lost. But the truth is, it’s more like leaving the 30 to go after the 70 (about 70% lds are inactive). The truth is also that narrow is the way & generally not where the masses gather in herd mentality. The church has good but also has evil.
I like this picture symbolizing hiking with purpose - backpacks - with a sense of direction - not aimlessly lost.
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes, a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.

I remember Aragon when he became King. Me and my Hobbit friends were there...as well as some Lamanites.
Still no 3 Nephites though?
Well, I'm better than dirt! Ah, well... most kinds of dirt; not that fancy store-bought dirt; that stuff is loaded with nutrients. I can't compete with that stuff. -Moe Sizlack
