Discussions toward a better understanding of LDS doctrine, history, and culture. Discussion of Christianity, religion, and faith in general is welcome.
If I wanted to encourage thought and try to understand devout believers better, I might ask: "Is it okay to make it difficult to understand certain things about the Church?"

And, I added a Google Custom Search bar to the site (toward the top on the right side). Now you can look up "Anachronism" or "all this was done in Mormon, yea, by the waters of Mormon, in the forest that was near the waters of Mormon; yea, the place of Mormon, the waters of Mormon, the forest of Mormon." (Sorry, that last reference is a passage that never ceases to tickle me )
Nice article - but you missed the examples where Abraham lied about Sarah, and when Nephi lied (put on a disguise to get the plates)... but you know.. ...lie a little, take the advantage of one because of his words, dig a pit for thy neighbor; there is no harm in this;... catch them with guile
