Mormon Discussions Message Board Unavailable?!

Post by Apologeticsislying »

Every subject I try to get on at Mormon Discussions shows me this message. Does anyone know what it means? Most of the messages are now gone too.....

My guess is the board has been hacked. It might have something to do with Smokey and this thread:

My guess is that they updated their version of phpbb and the updated version wasn't compatible with the version of php that their sever was running.

It appears to be fixed now.

The board is technically up but it is non-functional, with no posting and many posts missing.

That's what I get for just looking at the main page and not looking further.

Maybe Shades has met his match if the boards were hacked. Isn't it interesting that if that is the case, that is the only way to defeat arguments against Mormonism, is to cheat? Of course, we knew that already.

I just dusted my feet toward the mormon discussions snafu perpetrators. Smokey, if you are at fault and reading this or if anyone else with some responsibility is reading this, WATCH OUT! Dusting one's feet is a thing. Reliable rumor from the MTC Enquirer says that to only dust one's feet in the most egregious of cases, like when some uppity New Zealand woman disagrees with the maori myth a certain mopologist pushes.

Still no mormon discussions. What is going on? Maybe our brothers congregating at mormon talk will have some answers to illuminate an anxious soul. Come join the party. https://www.twitch.tv/mormontalk/

I found the MDM&M board just as entertaining closed as open......just saying. I do like posting my non-orthodox opinions there and receiving a barrage of hate messages within seconds of posting. I’ve seemed to find another with similar views to tag team with me a bit.

I was crying with laughter at one point, I think when Randy's father called. Good times! It brings me back to my mission days, training greenies.

I'm a half hour into it and I honestly can't tell whether it's for real or satire. I guess I'll know before long?

An hour and a half now and I'm still not 100% certain, but it's hilarious.

Those guys are like so Peter Priesthood sweetly naive, or else they are over the top genius's for acting all this out. I still can't decide. Shades bought their book and says they are faking it. Apparently the book is quite good. I didn't buy it......yet... I loved it when he told me "Now caller, you are playing a little rough," because I wouldn't let go of the point I was making.......LOL...... and that was just a soft ball.

Are you on this episode? What's your screen name? Philosoffee? No, wait, you're Raaaandy!

They've gotta be faking it, but they're really good at it. I mean, a filter on your PC that barks like a dog when you look at porn and you hook it up to a loudspeaker so not only your family, but your neighbors can hear it, and all of the neighborhood dogs join in?

I would love to hear these guys actually talk about Mormon doctrine.

I remember years ago tuning into the PTL Club while channel surfing. Tammy Faye and Jim Bakker were having a fundraising telethon. I was convinced it was irreligious satire and was side-splittingly hilarious.

Later I found out they were serious.

I had a similar experience. It was a bunch of Evangelical weightlifters doing a fundraiser called Power-lifting for Jesus.

I would watch the hell out of that.
