Does the Book of Mormon make any mention of foods eaten by the indigenous peoples such as pemican, wild rice, maple syrup, chocolate, turkeys, buffalo, maize, pumpkins, and beans?
I know Mormons were familiar with maize or they would not have gotten that Children of the Corn moniker.
Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.
