My son just commented that he is filibustering the conference.
I mean he usually just f-cks it up. So this is a massive improvement.
I'm actually sort of listening to this session. Oaks gave both the laziest and best talk he has ever given.
^^^^ This!! 100%
He gets a +25 from me. But damn my skin still crawls when I hear his voice.

Amazing how when Oaks just reads the words of Jesus, there's no homophobia, no bigotry, nothing about marriage or culty temples. I do notice however that he left out the horrific alleged words of Jesus from D&C 132.

I don't know that we teach it. I don't know that we emphasize it... I understand the philosophical background behind it, but I don't know a lot about it, ...

And isn't it ironic that Oaks, a special witness of Jesus, sounds NOTHING like our Savior when he usually speaks.

Ooh, I spoke too soon. Husband absolutely NEEDED me to come help him with laundry, RIGHT NOW, while the choir was favoring us with my least favorite hymn of all time, even 'I Stand All Amazed.'

A good reminder that Jesus did, in fact, invite us to get out of the boat...not to stay in it!

Just now tuning in. Went hiking with Beetbox this morning.
I wonder if Rusty isn’t doing too well since he has barely spoke and Oaks gave a Jesus talk?
Will we get the soft Oaks?

I just caught the Basset talk, and tuned in to Corbett. That Jesus had to die to forgive our sins has been a shelf item for years for me. To validate my concern is at least +20, but his explanation is -10.
But to bring it up period is woth +10 total.
