Trump's transition team is compiling a list of current and former U.S. military officers for possible courts-martial.

You need to make sure you have a military command that completely supports you before more serious fascist actions are taken. Clear out any democracy-prone officers.

He also refuses to sign the ethics agreement. He can't even pretend he will be ethical.

Americans have no excuse. Trump has been telling us for four years he would do this kind of asinine stuff, and apparently it's what they want. I can't wait for January 7, when Trump has announced that he will be a tyrant for one day.

A congressional ethics panel that investigated allegations of illegal conduct by Matt Gaetz, United States President-elect Donald Trump’s choice for attorney general, has parted without releasing its report on the former congressman.

Gaetz was the subject of a long-running investigation by the United States House Committee on Ethics, which polices lawmakers’ conduct.

The panel has previously said it was investigating claims that Gaetz “may have engaged in sexual misconduct and/or illicit drug use, shared inappropriate images or videos on the House floor, misused state identification records, converted campaign funds to personal use, and/or accepted a bribe, improper gratuity, or impermissible gift”.

President-elect Donald Trump is reportedly set to fire the entirety of special counsel Jack Smith’s team as well as use the Department of Justice to investigate the 2020 election.

Trump plans to eliminate the entirety of Smith’s team, including career attorneys typically protected from political retribution, according to a report from the Washington Post.

Trump's failure to submit the required ethics pledge, stating that he will avoid conflicts of interest, has also meant that he has not disclosed who is funding his transition process. Newsweek has contacted the Trump transition team for comment via email.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the Republicans Against Trump group called the president-elect the "most corrupt president in American history" while sharing a Sunday New York Times headline stating that his transition team is being run on "secret money."

"Trump has yet to sign the ethics agreement required for the presidential transition, allowing him to raise unlimited amounts of money from unknown donors to pay for the staff, travel, and office space involved in preparing to take over the government," the group wrote.

Elon Musk took to social media Wednesday to demand the shutdown of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

Musk is spearheading President-elect Donald Trump’s initiative to reduce the size of the federal government. In a post on X, previously known as Twitter, Musk said that the CFPB should be dismantled and claimed that this regulatory agency overseeing potential future payment operations for Musk’s X platform is redundant.

Tulsi Gabbard, whom Donald Trump plans to nominate as his director of national intelligence, was a faithful consumer of Kremlin-controlled propaganda network RT, three of her former aides told ABC News.

The former Hawaii congresswoman’s foreign policy views, which critics say have increasingly grown soft on Vladimir Putin’s Russia, have led some Democratic lawmakers to question her commitment to the United States.

Rep. Jason Crow said there are “deep questions about where her loyalties lie,” and Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, without offering evidence, claimed Gabbard is “likely a Russian asset.” Gabbard has repeatedly denied such claims.

A pro-Russian asset would fit in nicely with President Trump's policy desires.

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) made what seemed to be another criticism of President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday, cautioning that the country is in a "dangerous" global situation similar to the years leading up to World War II, and pointing out that Trump's campaign slogan echoes that historical period.

“We’re in a very, very dangerous world right now, reminiscent of before World War II,” he told The Financial Times in an article published Wednesday. “Even the slogan is the same. 'America First.' That was what they said in the '30s."
The Ku Klux Klan adopted the slogan in the 1920s.

Trump's slogan was shouted by the American Nazi Party in the 1930s.

Donald Trump says he will push to end daylight saving time. The other day it was announced he would be cutting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.

Once those programs to aid old people are ended, will the Church step up and offer to house the senior citizens in some abandoned warehouses in the Salt Lake Area (with mandatory baptisms and church services, of course)?

Three members of Utah’s congressional delegation invited a California man convicted in the Jan. 6 riot back to the U.S. Capitol, this time to attend President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, according to a letter written by former U.S. Rep. Chris Stewart asking a judge to give the man permission to travel. Questions sent to Sen. Mike Lee and Rep. Burgess Owens went unanswered.

Hopefully, Deseret Industry and Walmart can accommodate all the new elderly and mentally ill employees, especially the ones who are bedridden. We will need to wait to see how President Musk responds.
