Stakepresident taking the reins, tightly

So we had our Stakeconference last weekend.

A soul-less and to be honest terrible experience. And not just by my standards, but many have complained wot me and some other Nomish friends of mine in my stake.

1. It´s like General Conference, but then for real. DW said: Good riddance I didn´t attend.
2. We had camera´s and the images were projected above the pulpit, and to the walls of the overflow, so everyone could see and hear the voice of the Great Leader.
3. All talks were 100% correlated, a friend (former SP 2 decades ago) told me he had to mail the talk to SP, whe returned it with notes, and only after a new draft was sent and OK´d was he allowed to talk.
4. Even the brother conducting had notes what he had to say, and how he had to say it.

It was mindnumbing to an extreme

Last Sunday was our stake conference as well. I really don't know what they said, we were at a pumpkin patch enjoying time as family.
