Re: NFL Team in Utah?

Would “The Covenant Paths” be a good name for a NFL team in Utah? It may be a hard pill to swallow while sitting in the stadium on Sunday (fake Sabbath day stolen from Jews) and cheering, “Kick A$$ Covenant Paths”… If the latest MORmON Marketing Blurb™ were used as a name for the team, they would h...

Re: NFL Team in Utah?

Fortuna knows that the residents of Utah enjoy repeating useless actions over and over. If this were not so, a certain religion would not be so popular in the area.

All the other "professional" football teams have failed, why not try again? Just ignore history and trudge ahead. Tally Ho!!!

Found out where the idea of lids on German beer steins originated: The lids were put on to keep flies out of the beer.

I knew nothing of the term TK Smoothie, or the Barbie & Ken narrative preached by JFS until I accidentally peeked behind the LD$-Inc. curtain and discovered the truth. I did "know" of the teachings of procreation only in the highest levels of the Celestial Kingdom, but like Hagoth, no version of the...

Also... What's the deal with "woke?" You know you're listening to a Fox News junkie when they angrily spout that word like it actually means something (Cardon Ellis). Can someone help me understand this better? It is obviously a derogative term that refers to people who are concerned about people o...

Re: Debate night live thread!!!!!!

I just watched the "re-run." While not a complete train-wreck, It did end up being quite a bit like I expected. The MM's constant diatribe about how evil the world/secularism is, and how "Judeo-Christian Values" will fix everything drives me nuts. How many thousands of years have the 'Judeo-Christia...

Perhaps the last bulk order of MORONi statues got botched and they ended up with a bunch of Thirsty MORONi? XmoDrink.jpg And now that all the shipping containers have COVID, maybe it's impossible to get Horn-Tootin' MORONi so they've just given up on their fav' golden image? Maybe they'll start putt...

Re: Saturday Sabbath

Why do Christians, both Catholic and Mormons, worship on Sunday the first day? I was taught in MORmONism that MORmONs worship on Sunday because Jesus was supposedly resurrected on Sunday. MORmONs celebrate the "Day of the Lord" weekly, not the traditional/biblical "Sabbath/seventh day." Of course J...

They were pretending to have a more profound experience than they really were because of the expectations of others. Is that Mormonism in a nutshell? In a nutshell? Pretty much methinks. That's where all the "too sacred to talk about" BS comes from. I do like to say that one of the most important p...

Re: Where was John the beloved buried? Or was he not buried?

The penguin brings up the first question that came to mind when wondering if Mr. Beloved was buried: What sort of evidence is there that John The Beloved was actually a real person? (No: Neither the bible, mor the D&C can be considered evidence.) Just because something is written in the Bible does ...

In case you never got your answer Spicy.

Just read this on another message board:

Your dad, my dad, and every Mormon man, woman, and child can sit safely inside their own homes knowing without a doubt that their belief system is true. The only requirement for continued safety is to repeat the same assumptions that support their belief. It’s that simple. Repeat it until it’s part...

It seems that the words "not history" and "not historical" have become a recurring theme just in the last couple of weeks when members of the Board of Directors of the COJCOL-dS™ Corporation speak of the Book of Mormon. Both Nelson and Bednar have supposedly said similar things now. Is October the b...

Re: Where was John the beloved buried? Or was he not buried?

I found this at the Encyclopedia Britannica: John’s subsequent history is obscure and passes into the uncertain mists of legend. At the end of the 2nd century, Polycrates, bishop of Ephesus, claims that John’s tomb is at Ephesus, identifies him with the beloved disciple, and adds that he “was a pri...
