I'm not really a wine drinker, but for beginners, Moscato and Riesling are suggestions I have read a lot.
Hard to ever go wrong with Riesling. Vikings would have drunk Riesling had they known how to make wine. Jesus probably served Riesling at the wedding in Cana.

The Community of Christ (RLDS). The LDS. And the FLDS. A progression from the gentlest form of Mormonism to the most virulent. Brighamite Mormons would see this as a Goldilocks-type of thing, where the middle one is "just right". But the measurement is poison, not temperature. Okay, the religious b...

I was surprised by that recent Mormon Stories episode that mentioned having FLDS 5-year-olds wearing garments.

Watching the latest news analysis on the early dawn raid of Jeffery Clark's house. Apparently, the Justice Department has commenced a criminal investigation into the Trump White House.

Re: Trump & Church

I was impressed with the values of Arizona Speaker Rusty Bowers, who said no to the election lies of Trump and his lawyers. For the most part, many Mormons hold the same views as LDS President Ezra Taft Benson when it comes to politics (except Benson may have been repelled by Trump, while most curre...

Re: "Keep Sweet" or I will break you.

Oh, and be sure to point out the problem of there being no wives for all the young men. They kicked the young men out of the community, where they had to live on the streets of Las Vegas. They were known as the "Lost Boys". This was a similar problem during the reign of polygamists in early Utah. Y...

Re: Keeping up with Trump

The amount of lies told by Trump and his supporters is staggering. Trump holds the documented record for the most lies told by any world leader. Perhaps Trump wished to be memorialized as The King of the Whoppers . My guess is that his supporters must hold some records of their own involving gullibi...

Re: Keeping up with Trump

So who is next up for the republiguns? If Trump does not run due to incarceration, I think Republicans will opt for a ticket of Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz. They present the type of thinking and lack of honesty that Republicans have come to expect. Remember, Republicans cannot nominate Vl...

Trump says something stupid and people run with it.
It suddenly becomes an echo chamber for stupidity. The final premise of Trumpers is that if you lie with enough consistency, then it somehow becomes true.

Seems that you established that some time ago. Don't worry, there are plenty of Trump supporters who also reject the truth.

Only anti-FLDS, anti-polygamy, and anti-Warren Jeffs.
Regular Mormons recognize that this portrayal was them until 1926 when polygamists were no longer allowed in the Temple. That was 36 years after the **wink-wink** first polygamy ban.

In terms of evidence, the ship has pretty much sailed on the Trump White House being a criminal enterprise.

Just remember the character is a character, possibly an amalgamation of different people or ideas, with probably of a lot of artistic license thrown in.
If they show this amalgamized bishop having several wives, just nudge your wife and whisper "artistic license".

Re: Totally random example of how apologists misuse science

When everything is made up, the best you can hope for are coincidental similarities. Given the love of Mormons for C.S. Lewis, you would imagine BYU might hire an archeologist specializing in Narnia artifacts. Those additions could double the size of the Book of Mormon collection.
